peachy



i really would've liked to blog more about our garden and show off with some pictures, but rain is preventing me to do so. you will have to settle with this amazing recipe i just tried. bill and i received some delicious white peaches at the lansdale farmers market
on saturday. i had seen this recipe a few weeks ago and was waiting for fresh local peaches to try it out. this dessert has only slightly over 100 calories and 2 grams of fat! enjoy! 1 peach 1 tsp butter 2 tsp sugar 1/4 c ricotta 1 tbsp honey cinnamon sprig of mint melt butter and sugar in skillet. divide peaches in two, remove pit and place cut side down into skillet. cook for about 2 min until slightly caramelized. in small bowl combine ricotta, cinnamon and honey. spoon mixture into peaches, garnish with mint.
